I have to hand in some work tomorow, of which I have done none of, its just a website I have to make look nice which shouldn’t take to long. I’m not go to do anything special but it will look cool, I’m think of going for white and blue with black text with a simple navigation system. Will look great, might show you when it is done.

Today I have been working very hard making Gran Turismo Online look great, it is difficult making it look excelent without a banner but I try. At the moment it is in the GT colours (Red and Blue) and looks exactly the same as the CP. Normally the CP is based on the site but I felt like a change, the site is based on the CP. I have fixed a few problems I found with it earlier which should make it run faster, even though it does have a page cache system.

In my post yesterday I did say I would write a tutorial today, to be frank, I just couldn’t be bothered. I have been coding hard, developing Gran Turismo Online my latest site. At the moment the control panel looks better than the site so I think I need a new layout for the site, I think it should be based on the control panel as they are in the Gran Turismo colours (Blue and Red). The CP is now capable of creating and updating the car list for although does need tweeking a little as there are still errors popping up.

I feel like I have worked really hard and feel very good as if I have achive something when I really have done nothing all day. Today at Uni I started to learn Flash, I haven’t really been successul at it in prvious attempts but I did finish all the tutorials we were given before some people who has been doing Flash a while so I was pleased. I wish I had more days like this!

I am basicly doing nothing tomorrow so I hope to write a tutorial on something to add to this site, I hope someone finds it useful some how.

Tuesday is probably my worced day at uni, all day it is a module called “Drawing and Digital Communication” which is prodominently about Drawing and Digital imagery. It is probably my most hates subject as I don’t really like art that much but I would love to learn how to use Photoshop and Fireworks at a level that I feel is good. Although I am sure if I put the effort in I could do it because I have been told I am a good artist, I just don’t like doing it. I am hoping that if I start being able to do it I should start to enjoy it more, if all else fails after the Christmas break I wont have to worry about it ever again.

Ontop of that, if you live in the UK you will know what I mean when I say the weather has been dredful, heavy rain and strong winds. I was driving home in the dark between 5 and 6pm and it was bad, I never want to do that again, I pitty anyone who does that on a daily basis.

I had to get up earlier than I would have done on a Monday because Dad needed the car so I got a lift from my Mum into Uni. It ment that I was in about an hour earlier to discover that the lesson wasn’t on so we could do our projects. I didn’t do much but I did get the image I will use for this site, it will look very cool.

After Uni I went down to Liverpool City Center to meet up with a friend. Getting down there on the bus is a nightmare, they are digging up all the roads for Liverpool 2008 so I decided to walk, it was faster than the bus lol. While I was there I applied for my NUS Card which should be through in a few weeks so I should start getting my 10% discount from places all over the world soon, I wonder if it works on domain names?

I went to bed late and was forced out of bed to help dad at church, I wish he would make someone else do it from time to time. After that I did a little more work on the Gran Turismo Online control panel, it will now allow you to post and edit new articles with ease. The relaxed watching Stargate SG-1 and Star Trek: Enterpise on T4, now Im starting to feel tired and I think I will go to bed early tonight…

I have been at my mates for most of today, we have mostly been playing Gran Turismo 4. We also watched Red Dwarf which followed by more Gran Turismo. Two player is always bad, for some reason the tuning options are disabled which means that high power cars they skid all over the road and spin on corners, or even in strait lines. So we had much fun trying to race two Le Mans cars with more than 1000BHP each around a tight and winding test track, a normal car with about 400BHP could do a lap in less than 1.5 minutes, it took us best part of 15 minutes to do 2 laps.

I decided it was time for me to make my own blog, I have been a webmaster for a long time but I have never had my own blog. I hope someone will end up being bored enough to read it some time.
