Week Off

Friday, December 30th, 2005

For the last few days I haven’t been doing much, although I have learned how to use PHP5’s DOM thing and made a Google Sitemap Generator and an RSS2 Feed Generator with it. I think I might try to make an Atom Feed Generator using DOM as well.

I am going away next week for 5 days so I should have a nice time although I wont have the internet which sucks big style, maybe I will play Monopoly with my family and beet them (again). I usually end up winning every game against them although I did loose one of the four games I played last time I was away. Maybe its about time I found some decent challenges for once.

Its gone

Tuesday, December 27th, 2005

Well Christmas was a few days ago, I got no presents worth mentioning as usual. It doesn’t really seem worth the effort…

Its Christmas tomorrow

Saturday, December 24th, 2005

I still don’t fell like Christmas, I was at the Christingle Service at church, I was doing the video projection for my dad. I was hoping that it might look a bit more Christmassy but I still don’t feel it, I have at least got something for everyone I needed now. Got a good prank for my sister, I got here a little object that looks like a torch but isn’t. If you turn it on it gives you a shock so I think I will stand as close to the door while she opens it…

New Toyota Yaris

Tuesday, December 20th, 2005

I’m not sure if I posted about my car being in for a service but it went back to day to have the ECU (I think) replaced because the old one was struggling with accelerating hard. While it was being replaced I took a test drive in the New Toyota Yaris, it has a totally different feel to it. The seets were deffinitly more comfortable, the car felt bigger but the stearing was lighter and the acceleration wasn’t bad ether. I think I should start pestering dad to seriously think about getting it. The only problem I have with it is the looks.

I want to learn

Saturday, December 17th, 2005

I have been watching the film “Good Will Hunting” and that has kind of reminded me of what I felt like when I fist started college about two and a half years ago. I want to know everything, I want to wake up every day and know that I will be doing something interesting that will challenge me and make me stronger in myself. Problem is where do I start? There is a lot to learn.

Lazy Few Days

Thursday, December 15th, 2005

I finished uni last Friday since then I haven’t been doing anything that interesting, been playing Need for Speed Most Wanted mostly. Although the other day I corrupted my save file by turning my PS2 off in the middle of a save so I had to start again, I’m still not pleased about that but shit happens. I spent today in two, the other day I gave a picture of his “girlfriend” to his gran who in turn showed his aunts and now they wont stop asking him about it so I think I need to find a way to stop him from trying to beat the shit out of me.

New Guide Dog Puppy

Saturday, December 10th, 2005

I don’t know if anyone knows that my family have been looking after a guide dog puppy for the last year but we have. Our first puppy was a Gold Labrador cross (not sure what with) called Norma (I’ll try and upload a few pics some time) and she left us to go into training to be a Guide Dog last Thursday. On the same day we got another dog called Fen she is a Black Labrador.

For those of you who are ether out of date or haven’t even tried Firefox its time to upgraded to the ultimate online experience. Firefox 1.5 has now been released and I have been messing with it for the last few days and I can really tell the difference already, I perticually like how the feed icon has moved from the bottom to the right of the address bar.
