Biography

My name is Matthew Daniel Wells and I was born in April 1987 in Blackpool, England. My family move to Durham, England, where my sister was born January 1990. When I was about 3 I then moved to Accrington, England where I started school at St. John with St. Augustine CE Primary School. At the age of 5 I moved to the Douglas, Isle of Man where I joined St. Thomas CE School, I changed to Fairfield Primary School about a year later. When I was 9 I moved to Onchan, Isle of Man. When I was 11 I started at Ballakermeen High School where I did my GCSEs at 16. I started at Isle of Man College doing BTEC National Certificate in Computer Programming but after 9 weeks I moved to Liverpool, England, where I joined Knowsley Community College and changed my course to BTEC eMedia Production. I am now a full time student at Liverpool John Moores University where I am studying a BA (Hons) in iMedia (Interactive Design for Entertainment Media) at the ICDC campus on Edge Lane.

In my spare time I enjoy taking computers to bits and not putting them back together again. Playing video games, browsing the interweb, watching TV and films, driving, looking at cars I would like to drive and drinking mates under the table.

I have been thinking about making a blog for some time. When one of my lecturers at university said that the second years are using blogs to get feed back on the work they are doing. I decided it would be well worth starting mine a year earlier and be ahead of the game, and if it all goes wrong it is still a bit of fun.
